ACCOUNT + STUDIO PROTOCOLS

  • Enrollment & Membership Fees

    Alta Performing Arts Classes & Speciality Classes are Annual Classes that run from Sept - May.

    Fall/Spring semester ends in May and Classes are Closed.

    A one time $35 Annual Membership Fee/per student is added automatically upon enrolling.

    If a Siblings enroll their membership is only $15.

    Dance Classes are priced on a tiered scale. A sibling discount of 10% is auto-added to Family's total monthly payment.

    Tuition is automatically charged on the 1st of every month.

  • Drop Off - Pick Up

    Students must arrive on time for classes.

    Please do not enter your class early. Instructor will open the door for you when it's time to come in. Studio is CLOSED for guest viewing. (read studio rules page)

    Promptly pick up your child in front of the building when class is over. Please refrain from entering the studio at Pick Up / Drop Off : it causes a delay to getting class started. Families who are frequently late for Pick Up will be charged a $15 Late Pick Up Fee. Please be mindful our Staff and Teacher's time.

    Parents and Students, will never enter the studio, when there is a class in session.

  • Studio Info

    The APA studio is a single use studio. This means, our students attend classes with instructors only. Parents & Family members are not allowed in the classroom. We do not offer a lobby for parent viewing. Instructors have the right to cover windows if studio needs cooling off or if parent viewing becomes distracting.

  • Your Studio Director Account

    After selecting classes, all participants must sign & agree to the electronic liability form & photo release waiver in order to be an active Member. Alta Performing Arts has the right to refuse service at any time. No refunds, no exceptions at any time.

  • Overdue Balance

    Any member with an overdue balance of more than 30 days will not be allowed into class until payment in full is received.

  • Late Fees

    If the credit card on file is declined, a late fee of $25 will be pre-programmed to charge if not paid by the 5th of the month. No Exceptions.

  • Class Enrollment

    Class Enrollment Minimum: Teachers are subject to change at any time. Classes with only 2-3 students enrolled, may be re-scheduled, combined with an alternative class or offered a different class. 

    Class times/days may be moved depending on class enrollment size.

  • Withdraw

    Withdraw requests must be emailed by the 1st of the month. Participants will then be dropped for the upcoming month.

    Example : To cancel/stop your class for by February 1st , and email must be sent by January 1st.

    Alta Performing Arts does not offer refunds of any kind for members who do not attend classes or forfeit their spot in class.

  • Attendance - Make Up Classes

    Students are expected to attend class regularly. There are no refunds or credits given in exchange for missed classes.

    If you miss a class, Please email altaperformingarts@gmail.com within one week of absence, to see if an alternative class is available, though not guaranteed. Make up classes are no longer offered after Winter Break. due to class recital preparation. Make up classes may not exceed 3 per season. Valid Make-Up Classes are only offered with : Doctors/Dentist Note, School “event” note, etc. Make up classes are not offered for disinterest, social activities, birthday parties, etc.

    If a Teacher is absent, a substitute will be provided. In the event that a substitute cannot be provided, class will be canceled and a credit will be given. Alta Performing Arts does not offer credits, refunds, make up classes for unexpected emergencies or natural disasters including : building maintenance, outages, etc.
