Pricing for September 2024 - May 2025

Our season runs like a regular school year from SEPTEMBER - MAY

All Members must create an account to make class selections. Tuition is pre-programmed to charge on the 1st of the month. Tuition is pro-rated upon when you sign up and runs automatically. All accounts must have an active credit card on file. Take a look at our Account Details and Studio Rules before enrolling.

Yearly Tuition is broken up evenly from Sept-May by Month.

Monthly Pricing is NOT pro-rated by week.

Example : Months with 3 weeks are charged the same as those with 4 weeks.

Months with Holiday Breaks are not prorated. Studio Holidays & School Breaks and Absences are NOT credited or refunded.

Make-up classes are not offered when Studio is closed for Holidays. We are NO LONGER following Newark Unified’s school calendar.

Monthly Tuition is charged by season & payments run monthly. All Holidays are listed under the Calendar tab.

Registration Fee

  • Reg Fee is a mandatory annual fee that applies to all new and returning members. Musical Theater & Dance students pay Registration Fee annually.

    $35 Student Registration Fee

    $50 Sibling Registration Discount -Total

  • A one time, annual Registration Fee applies automatically to your account upon enrollment. If Student is enrolled in both Dance & Musical Theater - No double or additional Registration Charge applies.

Dance Class Tuition Breakdown

  • 1 Dance Class per week :

    $76/month

    2 Dance Classes per week : $126/month

    3 Dance Class per week :

    $176/month

    4 Dance Classes per week :

Musical Theater Tuition

  • 1 Musical Theater Class per week :

    $87 per month /per student

    Musical Theater Class is a speciality class and is not combined with tiered Dance Tuition Breakdown.

  • If student is enrolled in Dance Classes, only 1 registration fee or sibling registration fee is collected.

Tuition & Account Details

  • How is Tuition Charged?

    Before attending classes - Create an account with us. Select your class and BOOM! Your student is enrolled. Families must have an active credit card on file. Tuition automatically runs on the 1st of every month.

  • Registration Fee

    All new and returning members must pay a one time annual registration fee upon signing up for our 2024-2025 Season. Registration Fees are non-refundable or negotiable. Sibling Discount Info Above.

  • Late Tuition - Update Card

    Tuition auto-runs on the 1st of every month, If declined, you will receive an email to the address on your account. If payment has been declined and you have not updated your credit card by the 5th of the month, an automatic charge of $25 is applied to your alta performing arts account.

  • Event Expenses

    If your student participates in Alta Performing Arts Recital Fees, Costumes information will be sent out at a later date. All events, costumes, etc are charged on your online account, with notice.

  • Liability Waiver

    All participants or acting participants must agree to our online liability waiver before taking classes at Alta Performing Arts. Failure to do so upon arrival means, your student may not enter our studio for class.

  • Updated! Absences + Make Up Classes

    Due to high class demand and full classes… Make-up classes are offered Sept - Jan to the best of our abilities, although not guaranteed. NEW! Students receive 3 Make Up Classes per year. Make up Classes are not guaranteed offer from Jan 1st 2025 - May 2025.
